The main house currently has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There is a newly fitted kitchen with brand new white goods including Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Tumble drier, Microwave, and Fridge Freezer. The sitting room has a TV with DVD player.

Some of the décor is somewhat old, but the house is clean, bright and airy. The floors are solid oak (apart from the kitchen) and the large windows all have shutters (and curtains) which help keep the house cool in the height of summer. In the medium term we plan to fit out the first floor to create 3 further bedrooms and 2 further bathrooms. Work is ongoing and will probably be completed in the Spring of 2006

The picture on the left is taken from the garden to the main house. The garden is enclosed and mainly laid to lawn. It features a very large terrace immediately in front of the house which is an excellent place to eat. It has an abundance of pear trees and a very prolific vine which is being trained on to a pergola over the terrace to provide so useful shade.

The house has central heating and so can be used all year round. We spent an excellent Christmas there is 2003, and various friends used it on and off through out the winter. Weather can get a little extreme as we are at 500 metres although it does not seem that high as in the UK very little can be grown above 400m. You will be struck by how lush the vegetation is and how many things grow in abundance.
